Our client, a recognized leader in the metal manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking EHS Manager to lead their safety and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee all safety-related activities throughout the steel fabrication facility.Foster a culture of safety within the organization.Implement new safety procedures and principles in the plant.Ensure compliance with all OSHA standards daily.

Essential Skills

Degree in EHS Management preferredStrong knowledge of OSHA 500 and OSHA regulations.5 - 7 years of experience, preferably in a metal manufacturing environmentExperience in construction safety.Proficiency in EHS management and safety program development.Experience with safety audits and quality assurance.

Job Details

Location: Columbia, SCPay: Contract Pay: $38 - $41/hrSalaried pay raise after the 90-day contract period and conversion to permanent employeeSchedule: Monday - Thursday: 5am - 5pmFriday: 5am - 1pmSaturdays (during high production): 5am - 1pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $43.27/hr.
