Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to ensure workplace safety and compliance within our facility. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience to anticipate potential hazards, develop corrective strategies, and implement effective controls to mitigate risk.
ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted advisor and mentor within the facility.Utilize both experience and an innovative approach to EHS activities.Anticipate potential workplace hazards and evaluate strategies for corrective action.Assist in the implementation of controls and track the completion of related projects at the facility level.Analyze reports, metrics, and other relevant data to assist in project development and improvement plans.Coordinate responses, investigations, and corrective actions related to EHS incidents.Manage workers compensation reports, documentation, data, and costs.Develop and maintain databases relevant to EHS activities.Interpret regulations, industry best practices, and other relevant information.Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations through education, day-to-day activities, programs, policies, and self-assessment audits.Participate in corporate, customer, and government-related EHS audits.Maintain accurate records and data in accordance with company, customer, and local guidelines.Provide training on policies, regulations, and procedures as directed.Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.Essential SkillsEnvironmental health expertiseHealth & safety knowledgeOSHA regulations proficiencyEHS management skillsIndustrial hygiene understandingHealth and Safety experienceAdditional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience as an EHS ManagerStrong computer skillsBachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & SafetyWhy Work Here?
