Safety Lead for our Data Centre operations, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust health and safety protocols across all phases of the facility—construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations. You’ll ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards, foster a proactive safety culture, and lead incident prevention and response initiatives.Job Description
About the Role:
Oversee site-wide safety compliance and risk mitigation strategiesReview and approve safety plans, permits, and risk assessmentsConduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspectionsCoordinate with contractors and consultants to enforce HSE standardsMonitor high-risk activities (e.g., heavy lifting, electrical work, confined spaces)Transition safety protocols from construction to live operationsCollaborate with facilities, IT, and security teams to ensure safe operationsAbout You:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of HSE experience, preferably in data centres or mission-critical environmentsCertifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent are highly desirableStrong knowledge of local safety regulations and global standards (e.g., ISO 45001)Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skillsWhy join Cushman & Wakefield?
