Job Description
As an EH&S Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting waste management activities, and supporting the environmental team with audits and inspections. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and environmental standards within our facility.
ResponsibilitiesConduct and load waste pick-ups, manage spill kits and spill kit ordering, and manage waste buckets for small batteries.Ensure waste labeling and waste storage is correct according to regulations.Complete required inspections on a monthly basis.Assist the environmental team with facility audits.Conduct new employee training and create environmental highlights for shift change briefs.Gather and enter paint log data for old rail and boom rail on a monthly basis.Complete Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requests.Conduct storm water sampling and waste sampling for profiling if necessary.Gather and report water meter readings to the environmental department if necessary.Essential SkillsAssociates Degree.Two or more years of experience in environmental management or waste handling.Ability to operate a forklift.Ability to operate hand tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment and Shift
The position is set in an industrial, large manufacturing environment.
The facility is non air-conditioned.
1st shift:
5AM-3:30PM Monday - Friday
Optional OT on weekends.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
