Position Summary:

The education coordinator will plan, promote, and deliver professional education programs for fellows, residents, healthcare professional students, area high schools as well as other interested groups. Reserves, confirms, prepares, and monitors program arrangements as needed which may include registration, facility, audio-visual equipment, and faculty.

 

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday; occasional evenings and weekends.

 

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:High school diploma or equivalent, plus one or more years of experience in meeting planning or delivery of ACGME-accredited or health related programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Highly organized individual with leadership and problem-solving skills.Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.Demonstrate knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide the appropriate experience to our external clients.Competently performs job-specific technical skills and possesses identified in the job-specific competency-based orientation material.Records maintenance skillsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingAbility to create, compose, and edit written materials.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.ACGME accreditation process and maintenance knowledge
