Job Title: EDM Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EDM Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up Mitsubishi EDM and Wire machines, making program edits with GibbsCAM and ESPRIT software, and performing quick, accurate, and efficient machine setups. You will work off various blueprints and handle the full process, including operation, setups, tooling changes, program editing, loading programs, and troubleshooting. Maintaining quality standards through in-process inspection and monitoring of parts and processes is essential.

ResponsibilitiesSet up Mitsubishi EDM and Wire machines.Edit programs using GibbsCAM and ESPRIT software.Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently.Work off various different blueprints.Handle operation, setups, tooling changes, program editing, loading programs, and troubleshooting.Maintain quality standards through in-process inspection of parts and monitoring of processes.Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to the supervisor.Essential Skills5+ years of CNC Swiss setup experience.Proficiency in GibbsCAM and ESPRIT software.Fluency in G & M code and ability to edit programs.High level of blueprint reading required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with shop math.Proficiency in using measuring tools.Experience with numerical control.CNC EDM experience.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93000.00/yr.
