**Job Title: EDM Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled EDM Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts using EDM machines, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining the machinery to ensure optimal performance. You will work closely with a passionate team dedicated to creating innovative products. **Responsibilities** + Machine high-quality parts using EDM machines. + Read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions. + Inspect and document manufactured parts. + Ensure machinery is in good working order before each shift. + Perform machine setups for part manufacturing. + Edit programs and processes as needed. + Conduct necessary machine maintenance and operate equipment properly. + Abide by all safety standards at all times. + Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately. + Keep work areas clean and organized. + Maintain a high standard of quality and take pride in your work. + Be available to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed. **Essential Skills** + 7+ years of experience with Sinker/Wire EDM machines setup, operating, and programming. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience with GD&T. + Advanced knowledge of EDM programming. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mastercam experience is a strong plus. **Why Work Here** This is a long-term opportunity with a growing company that produces exciting products. The environment includes both climate and non-climate controlled areas. Working hours are extensive, with 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday and 8-hour days on Friday, with optional Saturdays for both shifts encouraged and as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bertram, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $46.00/hr.
