**Job Title: EDM Machinist** **Job Description** As an EDM Machinist, you will work with minimal supervision to set up and operate a variety of equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards for quality control and safety. You will play a critical role in the optimization of manufacturing processes and will assist in designing fixtures and determining process capabilities. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate EDM machines + Editing codes in program, selecting tooling for runs + Assist manufacturing and applications engineering in optimizing manufacturing processes. + Follow documented processes to perform operations, ensuring specifications and quality control standards are met. + Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and internal work instructions, including inspections and process adjustments. + Set up all safety devices and necessary support equipment, instructing operators on equipment and safety. + Lead the work of subordinates when required. + Proficiency in Wire EDM programming and machine setup. + Ability to interpret and work within tolerances and blueprints. + Experience in programming and setting up EDM machines, including program writing and fixture design. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical and mathematical aptitude. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDM machine programming and setup. + Previous experience in a highly regulated industry is preferred. + Experience with various types of CNC-based equipment is preferred. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $85000.00/yr.
