Join EY and help to build a better working world. **Indirect Unclaimed Property Services Tax Associate Analyst - SDC - San Antonio FY25** Join our globally integrated team of dedicated indirect tax professionals and you’ll have the opportunity to combine your technical knowledge and industry understanding to identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for our clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for teaming, leadership, career advancement and feedback. **Your key responsibilities** You’ll spend much of your time engaging execution and delivery of unclaimed property asset recovery engagements, including assisting in identifying, securing, and recovering assets for our clients. We’ll look to you to develop strong relationships with our clients and team effectively with internal resources. You can expect to be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role. **Skills and attributes for success** + Contributing to client satisfaction by providing timely and responsive services and work products + Staying informed of current technical developments and effectively applying knowledge to client situations + Thoroughly and accurately analyze information; prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's unclaimed property needs and arrive at appropriate conclusions + Demonstrate an understanding of unclaimed property concepts + Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals **To qualify for the role you must have** + A bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, government, or business administration, + Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills + Strong problem-solving skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for learning database management + Self-motivated, adaptable to change and able to meet deadlines + A desire to be a part of a team in a high-paced environment + Comfortable with client interaction and communications + Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment **Ideally (but not required), you’ll also have** + 1 to 2 years of relevant unclaimed property recovery experience, or working in the financial services or accounting industry, or for a government agency + Technical expertise and experience related to filing unclaimed property and/or refund claims with government agencies + Experience establishing and maintaining the “back office” functions, including, the hardware and software required to operate the business (i.e., third-party software, mail room, and call center support functions) **What we look for** We’re interested in people who can manage multiple challenging engagements and contribute to the delivery of innovative ideas for our diverse clients. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $54,800 to $90,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $65,800 to $102,600 . Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
