The Opportunity:
Looking for technically skilled ECO Planner

What you need:
ECO Planner

Key Responsibilities

Specialize in planning activities related to production control, inventory control, process control, shop floor control, and MRP data integrity.

Maintain and manage SAP work order release schedules to ensure material availability on time for manufacturing and engineering activities.

Reschedule and close discrete work orders, including no-charge jobs, as required.

Improve component availability at work order release through pre-shortage analysis and work order variance analysis.

Review and execute MRP transactions; ensure accuracy of system data by reconciling supply and demand and validating master scheduling / PDS requirements.

Manage and ensure proper execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), including preparation of regular status reports.

Perform system maintenance and audits to maintain data accuracy and planning integrity.

Participate in floor audits with Finance, resolve WIP discrepancies, and support closure of related issues.

Attend production meetings and provide updates on material shortages and committed dates.

Update and maintain make-level lead times aligned with actual manufacturing floor conditions.

Collaborate with engineering teams to manage materials for special engineering and ECO-related projects.

Support shop floor control activities in coordination with work centers, as required.

Inventory Control Responsibilities

Analyze usage trends and stock levels to plan material orders and meet defined service levels.

Maintain inventory as per plan, expedite shortages, and forecast spare parts requirements.

Investigate material variances, resolve issues where possible, and escalate complex problems to management.

Assist in implementing new inventory systems or modifying existing processes when required.

Support expediting activities and manage obsolete or excess inventory, as applicable.

Process Control Responsibilities

Participate in identifying root causes and corrective actions based on PCI reports and metrics.

Drive cycle counting activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Note

This role is strictly focused on ECO planning activities.

The role does not involve production planning responsibilities.
