What You’ll Do:
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a high-performing cardiology department. You’ll collaborate with the Cardiovascular Services Manager to ensure the highest quality of patient care while guiding and inspiring your team of sonographers.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising day-to-day operations of the Echocardiology department
Leading recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
Managing staff schedules, competencies, and compliance
Overseeing Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives
Acting as a technical expert for equipment and protocols
Performing advanced echocardiographic procedures as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Completion of an AMA-accredited Echocardiogram program (1 year minimum)
Current certification from one of the following:
ARDMS (RDCS)
CCI (RCS)
ARRT
American Heart Association BLS Certification
At least 2 years of recent full-time experience in echocardiography
At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related healthcare field
Membership in professional organizations like ASE, SDMS, or SVT
Previous supervisory or management experience

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $106,000–$168,000 annually
