We are looking for a colleague who will take end-to-end responsibility for our Siemens EDM environment including system administration, the EDM–Windchill interface, and related scripts and processes. The role is both technical and coordinative: you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the business focal point (Business SPOC) towards IT, and provide first-line support to users.
What You Will Do:
Support the administration of our Siemens EDM environment:Help maintain baseline profiles, templates and configuration rules, support users, contribute to keeping the EDM library up to dateAssist with the EDM–Windchill interface: Monitor interface runs, support maintenance of Java- and batch-based (bat) components (small fixes, parameter changes), scripts for reports automatizationLead the SME team and support SME administration tasks (e.g. actions, follow-ups in Jira)Improve and document EDM- and design-related processes (e.g. in Confluence)Take part in library reviews and process management:Regularly review parts in Mentor Graphics with senior colleaguesSupport version upgrades in Mentor Graphics, EDM and database system together with IT and other departmentsContribute to training and knowledge sharing in online videos, documentation, and confluence.What You Need to Be Successful:
Degree in Electrical EngineeringStrong English skills, both written and verbalAt least 3 years of experience in administrative tools like Siemens EDMA thorough understanding of document management in an electronics environmentStructured and process-oriented working styleStrong verbal communication skillsWillingness to work in a hybrid model, with at least one day at the officeBonus Points if You Have:
