We are looking for a motivated and analytical Intern, Market Access to join our Market Access team on an 8–12 month internship. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of pricing, reimbursement, health economics, and cross‑functional collaboration, contributing to meaningful impact for patients and healthcare systems.
Your new role
In this role you will manage specifically assigned projects and help identify opportunities to develop and execute approved pricing and market access strategies to meet current and long‑term business objectives. Working closely with cross‑functional partners, you will support market access activities across current and launch brands. Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct data analytics to support pricing assessments for current and launch brands. Participate in the development of pricing and market access strategies with cross‑functional teams. Support pricing regulatory obligations, including PMPRB submissions and compliance with provincial price policies. Conduct invoice management including validation, accrual forecasting and historical tracking. Track reimbursement levels and criteria for current and launch brands. Analyse health economic and outcomes research to summarize available information and identify evidence needs and data gaps for HTA and payer submissions. Support execution of real‑world evidence studies including database analyses. Monitor developments in pricing guidelines, payer/HTA practices, and competitors’ reimbursement activities. Support project management, timelines, and deliverables by liaising between the market access team and vendors. Manage project budgets and process invoices to align with monthly budgets.
Your skills & qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree and above in science, economics, business, public health, or related fields. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis; proficiency in Excel required. Experience with statistical software or database analysis is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams; strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with health economics, HTA, or reimbursement concepts is an advantage. Attention to detail, accuracy in invoice and budget tracking, and a results‑oriented approach.

Salary: For this role the Annual Base Salary ranges from $48, 670 – $73,010
The placement in the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on your skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience match the position requirements
Incentives: Based on the role’s level and other factors, the salary package may include short-term (STI) and/or long-term (LTI) incentives.
