Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Monday through Friday, some family friendly hours required.

This position will be a split of remote and on-site work at our Plymouth office.

Pay Range

$26.10 - $39.15

Major Responsibilities:

Conducts assessments to determine the appropriateness for Employee Assistance Program services.

Provides individualized coaching and intervention for specific problem behaviors using Employee Assistance Program approved service delivery modules, short term sessions and/or referral to community mental health or substance use treatment.

Facilitates referrals and ensures client is successfully transitioned to service provider. Follows up with client within one week of referral.

Provides short term sessions for clients or families experiencing problems affecting their ability to perform effectively at school, in the workplace or in their personal life.

Documents services in client records according to established protocols and within designated limits.

Attends all Employee Assistance Program meetings and required trainings. Engages in additional supervision/collaboration as needed.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Marriage and Family Therapist Training license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or

Professional Counselor Training license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or

Social Worker, Adv Practice license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or

Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) issued by International Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA).


Education Required:

Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field.


Experience Required:

Typically requires 1 year of experience in in a clinical setting (graduate or occupational experience).


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Knowledge of basic counseling techniques, including behavioral health professional guidelines.

Excellent communication skills to engage and connect with clients by phone, video or in person.

Computer skills including the ability to use databases and other software.

Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to pursue full clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC or LCSW preferred).


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Exposed to a normal office environment.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
