Boeing Global Services is searching for an EA-18G Growler Electrician to join the team in NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

The GFD5IC (GFQ) - Product Repair/Mod Tech C will be responsible for performing electrical safety practices and modifications on the EA-18G aircraft. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, repair techniques and modifications to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.

Position Responsibilities

Perform electrical repairs and modifications on the EA-18G aircraft in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.

Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify and troubleshoot issues.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety practices and regulations during all repair and modification activities.

Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement design changes and improvements.

Document all repair and modification activities accurately in accordance with company policies.

Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of electrical systems.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical repair and modification, preferably in an aerospace environment.

Experience using of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to electrical systems.

Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions

This position may require working in confined spaces and at heights.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

May require working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
