Job Title: E&I Technician
Job Description

Join our dynamic team in York, South Carolina, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing facility and production equipment, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance. ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain facility and production equipment, including mixers, reactors, pumps, homogenizers, and heat exchangers.Perform maintenance on mechanical systems such as rotating seals, gearboxes, belt drives, piping, pumps, and pneumatics.Document work activities using a computer-based work order system.Follow procedures under ISO 9000 certification and adhere to safety rules and industry best practices.Troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs and electrical distribution systems.Participate in on-call duties for maintenance emergencies.Essential SkillsExperience with understanding, diagnosing, inhibiting, and overriding PLCs.Background in electrical systems.Ability to read and apply electrical distribution drawings in real-life scenarios.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with calibrations and commissioning.Familiarity with SAP and E-Maintenance CMMS programs for preventive maintenance.Knowledge of ProCal Software for equipment and calibration management.AutoCAD skills.3-5 years of E&I experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced production setting with a strong emphasis on safety due to the handling of chemicals. The facility is climate-controlled and very clean. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are mandatory in all production areas. Employees are required to be fitted for a respirator, and candidates with facial hair may need to shave to ensure proper fitting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
