**Job Title: Industrial Electrical & Instrumentation Technician** 6 month contract to hire, 7am-3:30pm + OT as needed, $35-$41.90/hr (depending on experience) Located in downtown Memphis area. **Job Description** The role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial electrical components and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. You will work with instrumentation, electrical protective devices, motors, inverters, and control systems, both hard-wired and Ethernet-based. **Responsibilities** + Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components and equipment using fall protection equipment when required. + Utilize schematics, mathematics, and preventive/predictive technologies for safe electrical testing and measurement. + Perform calibration and documentation of functions related to Flow Measurement, Level Measurement, Pressure, Temperature, and Analytical Instrumentation. + Troubleshoot process control loops using specialized testing equipment. + Terminate motor starters, control, and power wires. + Cut, thread, bend, and install raceway (conduit) and cable trays in an industrial setting. + Install wire through raceway and cable trays for testing. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician. + Proficient in conveyor maintenance. + Working knowledge of schematics, mathematics, preventive/predictive technologies, basic computer literacy, and safe electrical test and measurement practices. + Ability to calibrate instrumentation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in mechanical maintenance repair and working with valves, motors, and instrumentation. + PLC troubleshooting skills. + Motor controls and sensors expertise. + Able to lift 50 pounds and navigate stairs and ladders. + Capability to work in non-climate-controlled and outdoor environments. **Why Work Here** This opportunity provides a dynamic work environment with a focus on safety and professional growth.
