Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated E&I Technician to join our team at our Ridgeville, SC facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in electrical maintenance, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems. You will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex automated systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and related control systemsInterpret and modify ladder logic diagramsMaintain and troubleshoot Honeywell and Yokogawa automation systemsSet up and diagnose burner controllers and hot oil systemsCalibrate and maintain limited adjustment switchesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systemsService overhead cranes and ensure safe operationUse SAP for maintenance tracking and inventory managementInterpret work orders and execute tasks efficientlyFollow electrical wiring best practices and use appropriate connectorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming and troubleshootingStrong understanding of ladder logic and industrial control systemsExperience with Honeywell and Yokogawa systemsSkilled in burner controller diagnostics and hot oil system maintenanceFamiliarity with overhead crane servicing and electrical wiring standardsStrong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and control systemsAbility to use SAP and general computer applications for maintenance trackingExcellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience:

2-year craft training program in industrial electricity or equivalent military experience5–10 years of experience in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment or equivalent military bckground

Work Schedule:

Opening 1: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PMOpening 2: Rotating shift schedule
