**Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician** **Location:** Ridgeville, SC 29472-7830, United States **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **E&I Technician** to join our team at our Ridgeville, SC facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in electrical maintenance, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems. You will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex automated systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. **Key Responsibilities:** + Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs and related control systems + Interpret and modify ladder logic diagrams + Maintain and troubleshoot Honeywell and Yokogawa automation systems + Set up and diagnose burner controllers and hot oil systems + Calibrate and maintain limited adjustment switches + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems + Service overhead cranes and ensure safe operation + Use SAP for maintenance tracking and inventory management + Interpret work orders and execute tasks efficiently + Follow electrical wiring best practices and use appropriate connectors + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting + Strong understanding of ladder logic and industrial control systems + Experience with Honeywell and Yokogawa systems + Skilled in burner controller diagnostics and hot oil system maintenance + Familiarity with overhead crane servicing and electrical wiring standards + Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and control systems + Ability to use SAP and general computer applications for maintenance tracking + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills **Preferred Experience:** + 2-year craft training program in industrial electricity **or** equivalent military experience + 5–10 years of experience in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment **or** equivalent military bckground **Work Schedule:** + **Opening 1:** Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM + **Opening 2:** Rotating shift schedule **Employee Value Proposition (EVP):** + **Outstanding Benefits Package:** 90/10 low-deductible health plan, vision, dental, life, and retirement + **Career Growth:** Opportunities for advancement and long-term career development + **Stability:** A workplace where employees stay and grow **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $890000.00/yr.
