Job Responsibilities and Duties:\n\nInstall, troubleshoot, and repair high, medium and low voltage circuits Surface and Underground\nPerform work on A\/C and D\/C motors and motor control systems\nInstall, calibrate and maintain electronic instrumentation\nMaintain PLCs and Distributive Control Systems\nInitial assignment mine electrical maintenance\n\n

Qualifications and Skills: \n

Required \n\nMust be able to read electrical prints and schematics.\nGeneral computer skills with a working knowledge of data logging, spreadsheet, and control software.\nMust be familiar with PLCs, VFDs, Soft-Start and Basic Operational Control System Circuitry.\nMust meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for Electrician 1 or 2 (See Task Matrix in HR Office).\nMust meet the Physical Requirements for the Electrician position (see Physical Requirements and Working Conditions in the HR Office).\nUnderstanding of and a strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.\n\n

Preferred \n\nElectrical license.\nPrevious construction and\/or electrical maintenance experience.\nPrevious underground experience.\n\n

Education & Experience\n\nHigh School Education\/GED or equivalent work experience.\n\n
