**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Drywall Tapers** for a project located in and around **Sacramento, CA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of **$35-45/hour** based on experience & skill level. If you are a Drywall Taper and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Apply joint compound + Apply multiple coats of joint compound over taped joints, interior angles, & fastener heads; ensure a smooth even surface + Use a variety of tools including trowels, broad knives, & spatulas to apply & spread the compound + Apply a thin skim coat over the entire surface after the initial taping and mudding to achieve a level 5 finish + Sand & finish meticulously sand the compound after each coat to achieve a smooth, flawless surface free of tool marks & ridges + Ensure that the final surface is smooth and free of imperfections + Inspect work for any imperfections or areas that require additional attention + Ensure that the final finish meets the required level 5 standards and client specifications + Collaboration and communication work closely with other trades such as drywall installer and painters to ensure a seamless project execution + Communicate any issues or concerns to the project manager of supervisor in a timely manner + Maintain a safe and clean work environment; adhering to all safety protocols and regulations + Properly dispose of materials and clean up the work area after each project + Other tasks as assigned **Requirements:** + Must be able to read Blueprints **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
