**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Drywall Tapers** for projects located in the **Sacramento, CA area** . This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is **up to $35/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Drywall Taper and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Monitor and maintain drilling mud properties, weight, viscosity ph etc. to ensure optimal drilling conditions + Operate, repair & maintain mud pumps, shale shakers, mud tanks, centrifuges, and other related mud system equipment + Conduct regular sampling and testing of drilling fluids to assess and adjust mud composition as required + Coordinate with drilling engineers and supervisors to optimize mud programs and fluid management + Troubleshoot mud system issues and implement corrective measures promptly. maintain accurate records of mud volumes compositions and treatment chemicals used + Train junior mud tappers or other rig personnel in mud system operations and safety practices + Assist in rig site cleanup and mud system setup or breakdown during rig moves + Read & interpret mud logs, and drilling reports **Requirements** + Proven experience as a mud tapper or similar role in the oil and gas drilling industry + Indepth knowledge of drilling fluids and mud system equipment + Ability to lift heavy equipment and chemicals + Must be able to use a spray gun + Work in various weather conditions and confinedspaces **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
