**Job Title: Dryer Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Dryer Operator, where you will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring the drying process of chemical slurry. You will operate an industrial dryer to dry wet products, which will then be packaged and documented. This role requires troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform minor repairs on process equipment. **Responsibilities** + Set up, run, and monitor the drying process of chemical slurry. + Track and record production output via computers in the tracking system. + Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment. + Operate an industrial dryer to dry wet products for packaging and documentation. + Understand and manage each piece of equipment and control systems in the assigned work area. + Diagnose equipment issues and ensure safe operation. + Familiarize with the equipment layout and its impact on surrounding processes and storage areas. + Comprehend operating procedures, including process, safety, and maintenance. + Acknowledge process and chemical hazards in the area. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude with 1-2 years of process equipment operations experience. + Proficiency in operating chemical process equipment and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment. + Competence in using computers for documentation and tracking production schedules. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with operating procedures, safety, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment. + Understanding of process and chemical hazards. + Experience working in a collaborative small team environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes two weeks of vacation in the first year, increasing to three weeks after three years, with reimbursement for unused vacation days.
