Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a Drug Manufacturing Technician who will be responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. The role requires accurately weighing raw materials and active ingredients, combining them into a blend, and ensuring that the equipment and facility remain clean and in good repair. The technician will participate in the completion of work orders, including batch record documentation per current good manufacturing practices (cGMP). This position is non-exempt, with hours over 40 paid at time and a half.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate drug manufacturing equipment.Accurately weigh and blend raw materials and active ingredients.Ensure the cleanliness and good repair of equipment and facility.Participate in completing work orders and batch record documentation as per cGMP.Follow and complete documentation accurately with minimal errors or corrections.Complete cGMP and safety training in a timely manner.Work independently or as part of a team, following procedures exactly.Essential SkillsEntry-level with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Familiarity with lab settings, including using micropipettes and serological pipettes.High attention to detail and ability to work on multiple manufacturing orders concurrently.Experience with restriction digest and gel electrophoresis.Proficiency in using UV/Vis Spectrophotometer.Experience with aseptic techniques for inoculating flasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of chemical mixing and batch mixing.Experience in chemical compounding and production.Understanding of GMP, blending, and chemical processes.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
