Dropship Site Merchandiser, Website
Job Summary

The Dropship Site Merchandiser is responsible for assortment planning, product pricing, and profit management for the dropship business, owning the end-to-end performance of dropship assortments. This role leads on-site merchandising execution, develops and manages pricing strategies, oversees financial performance, and optimizes assortments in close partnership with Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and Suppliers to drive profitable growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssortment Planning & Optimization: Develop dropship assortment recommendations aligned with customer demand, store strategy, and category goals; partner with Merchandising (Buyers) to review, refine, and obtain final approval; support supplier onboarding and assortment expansion with data-driven insights; ensure approved assortments are effectively merchandised on-site; and analyze performance and customer feedback to recommend ongoing optimization.Pricing Strategy: Set and recommend dropship pricing with margin modeling and competitive analysis; partner with Merchandising for approval; monitor and adjust post-launch; ensure MAP compliance; coordinate promotions and markdowns.Profit & Financial Management: Own day-to-day dropship financial performance and visibility, including MMU and EBITDA; build and present margin and profitability analyses to support pricing and assortment decisions; identify margin risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions; and partner with Finance and Merchandising on forecasts, targets, and business reviews.Site Merchandising & Product Experience: Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of dropship product setup and on-site merchandising, ensuring high-quality content, imagery, navigation, filters and attribution that enhance discovery, elevate the brand experience, and drive conversion and sales through a seamless, customer-centric user experience.

 

 

 

 

Performance Analysis & Optimization: Monitor key KPIs and customer behavior to identify underperforming products and recommend improvements across pricing, content, placement, and promotional strategies.

 

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor’s Degree Required, Merchandising or Digital Marketing preferred

3+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience, ideally with dropship, vendor-direct models

Preffered experience with Salesforce, Rithum, Adobe Analytics and other Web Analytics tools, plus strong analytical skills and excel proficiency

Proven track record in driving sales growth and improving KPIs through strategic merchandising

Excellent communicator and self-starter with leadership ability, strong attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills
