This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting the body parts and mechanisms of drones, building vehicle components, and replacing parts following detailed instructions. Additionally, you will verify test specifications and ensure they are executed using available resources. **Responsibilities** + Maintain the existing fleet of aircraft and ground equipment, and new systems for function-specific flight tests. + Conduct tests to validate system improvements and new technologies for performance and design. + Perform tests and demonstrations related to US FAA Type Certification. + Create test setups that align with engineering specifications, including interpretation of test procedures, diagrams, instrumentation, data acquisition, test diagnostics, and root cause analysis. + Report test incidents accurately in layperson terms. **Essential Skills** + Experience in military aviation or aviation maintenance. + Troubleshooting and electromechanical build and repair projects. + Ability to read SOPs and technical instructions. + Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and proactivity. + Experience with hand and power tools (manual mills, bandsaws, screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, calipers/measurement tools, etc.). + Soldering skills. + Familiarity with 80/20 builds, electronics, mechanical repair, avionic systems, avionics repair, and troubleshooting. **Shift** + Asking for flexibility in availability as shifts will change based on business need, **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Irving, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
