City/State: Roseville, Minnesota Categories: Support & Facility Services Shift: Ebenezer Job Status: day/evening/night Req ID: 162947 Pay Range: Ebenezer **Job Overview** This position is responsible for driving the bus/van for purposes of providing and addressing transportation needs of the Ebenezer Community, individual, and group transportation. **Responsibilities** + Productivity and Initiative + Completes transportation routes and duties in a timely manner. + Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period. + Organizes work assignments. + Modifies schedule to accommodate the need of passengers. + Ensures compliance with all requirements pertaining to operation of special transportation vehicle. + Communicates with supervisor about needed equipment and supplies. + Dependability + Provides supervisor with adequate notification of schedule difficulties. + Follows policies and procedures of Ebenezer and state and federal rules and regulations. + Functions effectively with limited direct supervision. + Safety and Health + Is responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers. + Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services. + Knows and practices infection control procedures. + Knows and practices fire and disaster procedures. + Knows and practices safety procedures. + Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents. + Responds appropriately to emergency situations. + Participant/Resident Care + Displays knowledge and understanding of participant and resident rights. + Provides assistance to all participants and residents, as needed. **Required Qualifications** + less than 1 year + Drivers License (in good standing) + Medical Exam Certification + Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage + Must be at least 18 years old + Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation. within 30 Days **Preferred Qualifications** + 1 year **Benefit Overview** Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
