Job DescriptionSummary: To assist the PHX warehouse team with the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of driver check-ins to ensure timely and accurate receiving and sending of freight and information, while conforming to safety and security standards as set by Expeditors.
Tasks and Duties
Ensure all drivers and warehouse visitors check-in properly in system with complete and accurate data prior to accepting or releasing any freightComplete check-out for all drivers in a timely mannerVerify all documents have been received, signed, scanned, and copied as necessaryRun reports to gather daily, weekly, monthly dataSupport warehouse team with inputting event codes and data into systemReceive goods and complete quality check for correct quantity, references, and possible damagesPicking, checking, loading and unloading of freight by use of a forklift and/or pallet jacksCheck cargo manifests and assign to the Warehouse Agent Senior or LeadDifferent contouring, such as building and breaking down of ULDsPerform Dangerous Goods and/or Lithium checks (if in possession of IATA DG Certificate)Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedureAdhere to security and compliance rules as set by ExpeditorsMaintain a clean work environment, all transport systems, storage areas, work placesEnsure a safe work environment by assisting with cleaning check-list and safety standardsMeet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulationsEscalation of problems to Management when necessaryOther tasks/duties as deemed appropriate by your management teamPhysical Demands
