**Job Title: Driver** **Job Description** As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making daily deliveries of glass finished products to customers within the DMV area. You will be operating a box truck and are required to have a DOT license. Your role will also involve assisting customers with unloading products. **Responsibilities** + Make daily deliveries of glass finished products to customers within the DMV area. + Operate a large box truck or glass rack truck with tarp pullover sides. + Assist customers with unloading products upon delivery. + Drive primarily within Maryland, with potential routes extending to Washington DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis. + Start early in the morning to avoid traffic, with typical hours between 5am and 6pm. + Load and unload products as required. **Essential Skills** + Experience with delivery driving. + Proficient in operating a box truck. + DOT license is mandatory. + Ability to lift heavy products. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CDL B or CDL A license preferred for versatility in driving different types of trucks. + Good customer service attitude and flexibility. + Ability to use equipment such as overhead cranes and tape measures. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers a direct hire opportunity with great benefits and a family atmosphere. **Work Environment** The work environment is within a production/manufacturing setting. Working hours are between 5am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for overtime and occasional Saturdays. A 1/2 hour lunch break is unpaid. Dress code includes jeans, steel toes, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and protective sleeves, with PPE provided except for steel toes, which are supplied once a year after permanent hiring. The environment can be hot in summer and cold in winter, and timekeeping is maintained on personal time clocks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Frederick, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr.
