JOB SUMMARYAre you someone who likes to work with others?  Can you work in an environment where you set the rhythm to keep the operations moving?  Are you willing to operate machinery safely and see the success of an exciting industry? Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at the underground mine and surface operations in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.  Location:Martin Marietta’s Missouri market is anchored by the Randolph Mine, a major underground limestone operation located in Randolph, Missouri. The facility supplies crushed stone and other aggregate products to contractors, municipalities, and producers across the Kansas City metropolitan area. Strategically positioned with both truck and rail access, the Randolph Mine supports regional infrastructure projects, road construction, and commercial development, making it a cornerstone of Martin Marietta’s Missouri Valley District operations.Key Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel cultureInspect equipment for signs of wearPerform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipmentWork in a team environmentClean work areasManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsProper wear of personal protective equipmentNotify supervisors of repairs neededEnsure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirementsAssist in plant maintenance and repairsPerform duties with minimum supervision
