Job Title: Driller's Assistant - Geotech

Job Description

Join our team as a Driller's Assistant, where you will support drilling operations across various sites, primarily in residential construction. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork and learning, as you assist with labor tasks and progress towards mastering drilling controls.

ResponsibilitiesAssist the driller in daily operations, including loading materials and fueling up for the day.Drive the rig or service truck to job sites, requiring a CDL (will assist you in getting this if not already obtained)Perform labor-intensive tasks on construction sites, supporting the driller.Travel occasionally for overnight stays, with most travel being local and returning home each night.Communicate effectively and work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations.Adapt to varying job site locations, which can be up to 2 hours away.Essential SkillsClean driving record.2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation or farming.Ability to pass a drug test.Ability to lift 75 lbs.Mechanical skills, particularly with diesel engines.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Familiarity with construction labor tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding and mechanical experience are preferred.Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.Construction experience is beneficial.CDL required for driving company vehicles.Why Work Here

Work Environment

Work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold winters and hot summers. You may work on diverse sites such as military locations, open fields, and airports. Expect a direct and hardworking culture, with a typical workweek of 10-12 hour days over five days, with some flexibility based on weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEWBURG, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
