Job Title: Drafter/DesignerJob Description

This is a 100% on-site AutoCAD Mechanical Drafter role with a contract length of 6 months, potentially extending to a year. The position may transition from temporary to permanent based on customer needs and worker performance. The primary focus is on creating and updating drawings for BioProcess Containers used in biotech and manufacturing environments.

ResponsibilitiesCreate technical drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical, working with both simple and complex designs.Use prebuilt blocks or create new ones as needed, ensuring drawings are accurate and follow company guidelines.Manage design files and revisions using systems such as SFDC for design request workflow, PDM Enterprise for drawing revisions, and MasterControl for quality management.Generate cost files by using LISP commands in AutoCAD linked to completed designs.Collaborate with design engineers to clarify requirements and work with commercial teams to ensure designs meet customer needs.Proactively identify next steps on assigned tasks and perform detailed self-checks to ensure drawing accuracy before submission.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD MechanicalTechnical drafting and design skillsExperience with document control and workflow systemsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesHigh attention to detail and quality mindsetAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma required; an associate degree or drafting certificate is beneficialEntry-level experience acceptable if knowledgeable in AutoCADComfortable using Teams, Outlook, and ExcelAbility to organize and present designs clearly and manage multiple prioritiesWork Environment

The role is 100% on-site at 701 S Main St., Suite 200, Logan, UT. This position offers the potential to transition from a temporary to permanent role based on performance and customer needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Logan, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
