Job Title: Drafter

Job Description

The Drafter position will serve as support for the design department, assisting with the setup of new projects in AutoCAD and Revit, and facilitating coordination with clients through PDF/DWF sets. The role also involves maintaining a database of code stipulations and supporting the maintenance of AutoCAD/Revit standards.

Responsibilities

Set up new projects for design disciplines in AutoCAD and Revit.Create PDF/DWF sets for coordination with clients and internal review.Maintain a database of code stipulations per State/Province/City.Assist in the maintenance of AutoCAD/Revit standards alongside the BIM Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in drafting and design or a related fieldComfortable in Revit

Work Environment

The position is based in an open office environment with 35-40 employees, fostering a laid-back and collaborative culture. The Drafter will collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
