Job DescriptionThe Drafter is responsible for designing and drafting working layouts and master drawings of inflatable packer and related downhole tool components, assemblies, and systems. This role works from specifications, sketches, models, prototypes, or verbal instructions and supports engineering and manufacturing operations.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed drawings, assemblies, and layouts of final designsPrepare and dispatch drawings and engineering corrections through established approval processesCoordinate filing and organization of engineering drawings and documentationCollaborate with engineering and administrative personnel as neededMaintain a clean and orderly workstationPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications and Requirements Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experienceOne to three years of related drafting or design experience preferredExperience with packers, downhole tools, oilfield equipment, or manufacturing environments preferredAdvanced knowledge of SolidWorks or similar solid modeling softwareIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical documentsEffective verbal and written communication skillsSAP experience is a plus Skills and Abilities Strong mathematical skills including geometry, trigonometry, ratios, and proportionsAbility to solve practical problems with limited standardizationCapability to follow written, oral, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructionsBenefits and PerksPay Rate: $26.00-30.00/hr.Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWeekly PayProfessional development and training opportunitiesYour New OrganizationOur customer is a global provider of engineered products and services for the oil and gas industry, specializing in downhole tools and completion solutions.
