**DOT Box Truck Delivery Driver - Frederick, MD** **Location:** DMV Region (MD/DC/VA) **Position Overview** We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused **DOT Delivery Driver** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering finished glass products to customers throughout the DMV area using a box truck or glass rack truck. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy materials safely, and a valid DOT license. **Key Responsibilities** + Safely operate a large box truck or glass rack truck with tarp pullover sides. + Make daily deliveries of finished glass products to customers within the Maryland region, with occasional routes to Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis. + Assist customers with unloading materials upon delivery. + Load and unload products as needed, following proper safety protocols. + Begin routes early to avoid traffic; typical working hours are between **5:00 AM and 6:00 PM** . + Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all products are handled with care. + Provide professional, courteous service during all customer interactions. **Essential Skills & Qualifications** + Proven experience as a delivery driver. + Proficiency in operating a box truck. + **Valid DOT license (required).** + **Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.** **Preferred Qualifications** + **CDL‑B or CDL‑A** license for increased driving versatility. + Strong customer service skills and a positive, flexible attitude. + Ability to use basic equipment such as overhead cranes and tape measures. **Why Join Us?** + Direct‑hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits. + Supportive, family‑oriented work culture. + Stable schedule with opportunities for overtime. + Company‑provided PPE (steel‑toe boots provided annually upon permanent hire). **Work Environment & Schedule** + Production/manufacturing environment. + Hours: **Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM** , with potential overtime and occasional Saturday shifts. + **30‑minute unpaid lunch break.** + **Dress code: jeans, steel‑toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, a hard hat, and protective sleeves.** + **PPE is provided, except steel toes (provided yearly after permanent hire).** + Temperature varies seasonally: hot in summer, cold in winter. + Timekeeping is done via individual time clocks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Frederick, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr.
