This position will also provide recommendations for improvements to existing processes. + Consultation and cross-functional collaboration – this position will foster working relationships with units across NCDOT, such as the Division of Highways and Multimodal divisions, that perform certain financial reporting functions, and collaborate on responses to financial reporting requests from external parties. The DOT Accounting Systems Supervisor reports to the NCDOT CFO and will manage a team of up to 3 professional-level staff. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or other discipline related to the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive experience, of which at least two are supervisory or involved significant experience as a project leader in the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
