The Hilton Chicago is looking for their next Doorperson to join their team.
Overlooking Grant Park, Lake Michigan, and Museum Campus, you’ll be situated on Michigan Avenue, where incredible experiences are around every corner.
This person will be responsible for greeting arriving and departing guests and directing entry traffic in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Pay Rate: The hourly rate upon hire is $12.62.
After completion of 90 days of employment, the rate will increase to $13.13.
After completion of 1 year of employment, the rate will increase to $15.45 or the applicable Union rate at the time.
Shift pattern: Person must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes AM, PM, weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing?
As a Doorperson, you would be responsible for greeting arriving and departing guests and directing entry traffic in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Greet arriving and departing guests, direct traffic at the main entrance and offer luggage assistance to guestsRead luggage tags and provide claim tickets for accurate delivery of guest itemsRetrieve, move, place and store guest items including, but not limited to, packages, luggage and boxes from vehicles and the luggage storage areaArrange guest transportation (i.e. taxi cabs), as neededRespond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issue in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerWhat are we looking for?
