Our client, a leader in the defense industry, is seeking a Sr Test Technician to join their team. As a Sr Test Technician, you will be part of the Technical Department supporting critical testing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** US - DOD - Sr Test Technician
**Location:** Clearwater, Florida
**Pay Range:** $32.71/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor, read, and record test data for various navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units undergoing testing.
+ Learn to perform automated and manual test setups using established procedures to ensure proper testing of each unit.
+ Handle, mount, and test units while utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, and other test equipment.
+ Quickly learn and understand the test processes, including reading schematic drawings.
+ Adhere to standard test lab concepts, practices, and safety procedures such as 5S, FOD, and ESD safety practices.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 3 years of electronic experience.
+ Minimum of 3 years of electronic test experience.
+ Associate degree preferred or at least 1-2 years of experience in electronics or a related field.
+ Ability to learn quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ U.S. Citizenship and a security clearance are required for this position.
