Job Title: Document Reviewer - Analytical R&D Team

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Reviewer to join our analytical R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of controlled documents across laboratory and quality functions. Your work will support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of documentation used in analytical, quality control, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

Review analytical lab notebooks, logbooks, and lab documentation for accuracy and completeness with minimal supervision.Ensure all reports and raw data are accurate, correct, and acceptable according to relevant protocols and SOPs.Review raw data and chromatographic data collected from Empower.Examine technical documents related to batch testing, stability testing, dissolution, and method validation/transfers.Review raw analytical data and reports in both locked and unlocked Excel sheets.Collaborate with analysts to ensure all necessary corrections are completed in accordance with GMP standards.Notify Team Supervisor or Lab Manager regarding omissions and/or abnormalities in test results.

Essential Skills

Experience reviewing analytical data and proficiency with instruments like HPLC and GC.Experience with Empower Chromatography software and reviewing corresponding data.Good knowledge of laboratory GMP and demonstrated proficiency in analytical techniques.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with labwear and LIMS.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Work Environment

The position operates on a day shift schedule with core hours from 9am to 5pm, allowing flexibility to start as early as 8am. The workweek consists of 37.5 hours over 8-hour days. The dress code is business casual with occasional lab coat usage. The role offers the opportunity to work with a product from introduction to commercialization, providing exposure to various drug forms, including semi-solid, solid, liquid, injectables, and sterile injectables. This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
