We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to manage and oversee all document control activities for our data centre projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and security of all project documentation.Job Description
About the Role:
Document Management: Implement and maintain document control procedures, ensuring all documents are correctly classified, indexed, and stored.Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.Version Control: Monitor document revisions and maintain version control to ensure the latest documents are available to all stakeholders.Document Distribution: Manage the distribution of documents to project teams, ensuring timely and efficient access to necessary information.Archiving: Establish and manage document retention schedules, ensuring proper archiving and disposal of outdated documents.Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on document status, including outstanding approvals and compliance metrics.Training and Support: Provide training and support to project teams on document control procedures and best practices.About You:
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Or sufficient, relevant experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, preferably in data centre, if not complex commercial or industrial construction projects.Strong understanding of document management systems and procedures.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in document control software and tools.Driven and self learning.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Experience with ISO standards and compliance.Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to document control.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Why join Cushman & Wakefield?
