We are seeking a Document Control & Training Specialist II to join our team on a short-term basis, focusing on a project lasting 4-6 weeks. This role involves both onsite and hybrid work with specific days designated for remote and onsite operations. The primary objective is to support a short-term project aimed at capturing and documenting essential Purchase Order (PO) process steps and standard operating procedures.
ResponsibilitiesCreate, update, and maintain comprehensive written process documentation for PO procedures.Conduct stakeholder interviews, research, and requirements gathering to ensure documentation is accurate and actionable.Develop training materials, presentations, guides, and reference sheets tailored to diverse audiences.Facilitate group training sessions and collect feedback for ongoing improvement.Recommend, implement, and optimize the use of workflow efficiency tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, and Asana.Communicate status updates, training progress, and improvement recommendations to management.Investigate and propose solutions for process inefficiencies and address documentation discrepancies.Provide guidance and answer technical/non-technical questions about the PO process and associated tools.Essential SkillsAbility to clearly document and map operational processes and standard operating procedures.Experience creating and delivering training sessions.Familiarity with workflow and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms to drive process improvement and efficiency.Gathering insights by interviewing stakeholders.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Operations, Communications, or a related field.3-5 years of relevant experience in process documentation, operations training, or continuous improvement roles.Experience in project/program management or team training is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with hands-on experience in Smartsheet, Asana, or similar workflow tools.Demonstrated process mapping and SOP writing ability.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively across functions.Strong stakeholder engagement and interviewing skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and propose improvement strategies.Detail-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite presence on specific days while allowing remote work on others. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather process requirements and validate procedures. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on process mapping, continuous improvement, and the implementation of approved technologies.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
