Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Security Specialist 3/4 to join our team of qualified, and diverse professionals. This position will be located in Northridge, California. This is an on-site position, hybrid or remote options are not available for this position.
The ideal candidate will perform critical operational duties to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role is essential in managing documentation workflows and maintaining the integrity and security of classified and unclassified documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Support regulatory and GMP compliance documentation processes, ensuring that all documentation meets established standards and requirements.Document Coordination: Coordinate the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions efficiently. Track document activity to ensure timely updates and process optimization.Document Maintenance: Maintain a centralized, controlled supply of both classified and unclassified documents originating from the company. Ensure proper classification based on contracts and security manuals.Classification Review: Review documents to determine pre-established classification levels, manage distribution requests, and process them according to established protocols.Quality Assurance: Generate quality assurance checklists for product release packages, supporting production schedules and ensuring product quality standards are met.System Management: Maintain a secure, computerized document revision system and oversee periodic reviews and status tracking for all process-related documents and records.Basic Qualifications Level 3:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.Proven experience in document control, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance within a GMP environment.Familiarity with document management systems and security classification processes.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Basic Qualifications Level 4:
High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.Proven experience in document control, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance within a GMP environment.Familiarity with document management systems and security classification processes.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Primary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
