Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerk on the 1st shift in a vibrant and expanding industrial environment. This role involves receiving and preparing shipments for production, working closely with a small team to ensure smooth operations.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and match incoming orders on the dock for production.Collaborate with a team of four to five members to prepare production for assembly.Unload trucks and be on your feet for most of the day.Perform repetitive tasks comfortably, as daily tasks may vary.Receive shipments of foam and wood products, often requiring a team effort.Cut materials to specification upon receipt.Essential SkillsAttention to detail.Ability to use an air-powered staple gun and utility knife.Willingness to learn and be trained.Stable work history.Proven ability to stay on task and be on your feet most of the shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsCarpentry or upholstery experience.Prior foam manufacturing experience.Experience with vinyl material or production.Industrial sewing skills.Mechanical aptitude.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility with a casual dress code. The plant is spacious and has a positive atmosphere with dedicated departments for sewing, assembly, shipping, receiving, quality, and engineering. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with voluntary overtime options.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
