Dock Coordinator
**Job Title: Dock Coordinator** **Job Description** We are seeking a Dock Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating incoming goods to the correct location and ensuring timely product arrivals. This role is essential in maintaining efficient logistics and supply chain operations. **Responsibilities** + Coordinate incoming goods to the appropriate location. + Ensure that products arrive on schedule. + Manage inventory control activities. + Utilize inventory management systems for data entry. + Communicate with supply chain planners and supervisors to track incoming products. **Essential Skills** + 1-3 years of experience in inventory control with knowledge in logistics or supply chain. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Functional production and inventory knowledge. + Basic understanding of mathematics including multiplication, division, average, and percentage calculations. + Forklift experience. + Good organizing skills and attention to detail. + 2+ years of experience with shipping, receiving, or inventory control in a tier 1 facility. + Knowledge of ASN's and BOL's. + Experience with SAP systems and ability to navigate and log products within these systems. + 2+ years using Excel within an automotive environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with multiple docks and handling up to 40+ incoming trucks per day. + 1+ year experience working with OEMs within a tier 1 supplier, including direct communication with customers such as Ford, GM, Chrysler, and Volvo. + Knowledge of T-codes within SAP systems. + Experience within Ford supplier systems (CMMS) is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that prides itself on a clean and organized work environment with a strong, supportive company culture. Shift options include: A Crew (6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday), A Shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday), and C Crew (Swing Shift, 6:00am-4:30pm Friday and Saturday, 6:00pm-4:30am Monday). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
