Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Essential Functions:
Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shiftPerform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilitiesMaintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workdayWork collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environmentResponsibilities: Collect blood and urine specimens using approved techniques and equipmentAccession patient and test information accurately into the Care 360 systemProcess and prepare all types of specimens for testingObtain billing information from patients and ICD-10 diagnosis information from clients, as neededCommunicate clearly, courteously, and professionally with internal teams, patients, and external customers
Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of venipuncture techniques utilizing vacutainer needles and hubs, butterfly devices, safety needles, and syringes.
Required Experience:
Proven ability to collect blood specimens from patients of all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populationsAbility to manage a high patient volume efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality standardsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all DLO departments and clientsProficiency in basic computer use, including keyboarding and data entrySpecial Requirements:
Flexibility with your schedule — you may occasionally need to start early or stay late to meet patient or client needsWillingness to travel or work at different locations if business needs changeAbility to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items (up to 40 lbs occasionally, with help for anything heavier)Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods of timeAbility to perform hands-on, repetitive tasks throughout the day with good attention to detailComfortable using a computer and phone regularlyGood hand coordination and steady movementsAbility to move throughout the day, including walking, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling51445
