Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Hours: Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7am
Essential Functions:
Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shiftPerform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilitiesMaintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workdayWork collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environmentResponsibilities:
Perform duties as assigned by supervisor; to include inventory control, stocking supplies, performing activities under the supervision of the technical staff to facilitate workflow. Will learn to process specimens to be tested on analyzers and perform basic instrument maintenance to support the department, able to perform bench startup and assist accordingly during production.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge: Basic understanding of computers with medical background preferred, which includes medica terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.
Required Experience:Previous laboratory/medical experience preferred not necessary
Special Requirements: Should be able to work extra days/shifts as dictated by business need.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Position requires data background with abilities to enter 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour Works in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits Able to sit or stand for long periods Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment51754
