Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Hours: Monday-Friday 2200-0630 rotating weekends & on-call weekends
Essential Functions:
Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shiftPerform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilitiesMaintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workdayResponsibilities: Must follow all employer policies.Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environmentReceives specimens into the laboratory using hospital LIS and other LIS systems (QLS, Quanum, IDAA).Assists professional staff in routine technical tasks such as specimen processing and send outs.Other duties include filing, temperature checks, centrifuge maintenance, stocking supplies, answering telephone calls, entering orders, storing specimens, etc.
Qualifications:
Good computer skills, customer service skills, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Required Experience: High School/GED; previous laboratory experience preferred but not necessary.
Special Requirements:
Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. Keyboard skills are important. Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude. Able to work any day including weekend and holidays; able to flex hours and work overtime for othershifts as needed.51457
