Division Executive, Food, Beverage and Agribusiness

About this role:

Wells Fargo seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to head our Food, Beverage and Agribusiness Division.

The Food, Beverage and Agribusiness division is a dedicated sector that provides tailored financing solutions to clients operating in food and beverage production, manufacturing, distribution, and Agribusiness-related industries.

This division is part of Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking’s Specialized Industries business, which serves companies with annual sales ranging from ~$100 million to $2 billion and operates in sectors requiring deep industry expertise and regulatory understanding.


In this role, you will:

Lead Strategic Direction: Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Food, Beverage and Agribusiness Division, ensuring alignment with Commercial Banking’s Specialized Industries goals and market positioning.

Team Leadership & Development: Manage a national team of leaders and relationship managers. Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous development.Client Relationship Management: Oversee high-value client relationships across food and beverage distribution, manufacturing, and Agribusiness sectors. Ensure delivery of customized financial solutions including credit, treasury, and investment banking services.Business Growth & Origination: Drive disciplined growth through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and expansion of existing relationships. Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the food, beverage and agribusiness sectors.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across credit, risk, product, and investment banking to deliver integrated solutions and resolve complex client needs.Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards. Proactively manage operational, reputational, and human capital risks.Talent Strategy & Succession Planning: Activate succession strategies for key roles, recruit top talent, and support career development pathways aligned with Wells Fargo’s leadership framework.


Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of management experience

FINRA Licenses: SIE, 63, 79, 24

Expert banking experience within the Food, Beverage and Agribusiness industriesProven experience managing banking teams serving large, complex clients across Commercial or Corporate and Investment BankingStrategic leadership in positioning businesses for market growth and retentionStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and externalDemonstrated discipline in client strategy, reputational risk management, and enterprise connectivity.Ability to assess market potential and identify growth opportunities.Skilled in making timely, independent decisions in fast-paced, results-driven environments.Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills


Job Expectations:

US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.  In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.  Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.  Obtaining FINRA Series 63, 79 and 24 licenses, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.  Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.  For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required. This role requires a FINRA supervisory license and may require working in the assigned office location for at least one year from the hire date. Any supervisory role employee holding a FINRA supervisory license, who has answered affirmatively to certain Form U4 Section 14 regulatory questions/disclosures, will be ineligible to work from a location other than their assigned office location. This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$290,000.00 - $500,000.00
