This role provides a unique opportunity to lead internal employee communications, as well as communications to Cat® dealers in the EAME region. For internal communications, the focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to improve internal communication channels, ensuring employees are well-informed, engaged, and connected. For dealer communications, the focus will be on collaborating with key business partners to ensure alignment of messaging to dealer executive leadership.

EAME Distribution is focused on delivering superior customer experience, profitable market leadership and services growth through industry-best distribution performance. We provide governance and administration of Cat dealers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia.


What You Will Do:

Developing communication strategies, plans, and deliverables for the EAME Distribution Senior Vice President and leadership team

Responsible for deliverables including but not limited to speeches, video scripts, presentations, newsletter articles, and internal all-leader and all-employee meetings

Manage division communication plans, daily operations and the execution of internal and external messaging.

Partner with Human Resources to build and manage strategies that develop leaders and instill deep understanding of the business.

What You Will Have (Required):

Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 10–15 years of professional experience in communications.

Languages: Proficiency in English and French required

Organizational Communications: Significant experience leading global communications efforts

Strategic Planning: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan; ability to measure business impact for communications efforts

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization

Interpersonal Relationships: Successful in supporting and interacting with senior level executives; excellent interpersonal skills to engage on sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions

Additional Information:

The primary location for this position is Geneva, Switzerland. This position requires on-site presence 5 days a week.

This position may require 15% travel.

A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
