As a trusted partner to executive leadership, you will embed inclusion directly into how we operate—integrating it into our talent practices, business processes, and cultural priorities. This role sits within a team responsible for delivering a unified framework that connects organizational performance with purpose, helping to build a high performing, engaged, and connected workforce where everyone can thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop, lead, and continuously evolve the company’s Diversity Inclusion strategy, embedding inclusive principles into talent practices and core business processes.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on inclusive leadership, equitable workplace practices, and change management.

Partner closely with HR, Recruiting, Learning Development, Equitable Foundation, and Communications to integrate Culture Inclusion initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle.

Collaborate across functions to ensure inclusion is embedded in initiatives ranging from recruiting and development to sustainability and ESG reporting.

Lead the design and execution of an early talent pipeline strategy to attract diverse talent to the Equitable Advisors wealth management business.

Build and manage external partnerships with professional networks, industry organizations, high schools, and universities.

Coordinate immersive, experiential programs such as externships, one-day branch office engagements, and other hands-on experiences for prospective candidates.

Represent Equitable and Equitable Advisors at student engagement and recruiting events.

Oversee Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and inclusive culture campaigns that drive engagement, accountability, and enterprise-wide visibility.

Represent the company externally on topics related to inclusion, corporate purpose, and ESG, managing select partnerships and industry recognitions.

Use data, dashboards, and analytics to design initiatives, measure outcomes, and clearly communicate progress toward diversity and inclusion goals.


The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $186,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You’ll Bring

7–10 years of experience in Diversity Inclusion, employee experience, or related people strategy roles (financial services experience preferred).

Demonstrated success designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise-wide DI strategies.

Strong background in program design, employee engagement, organizational culture, or change initiatives.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire action at all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical capabilities, including experience defining, measuring, and interpreting key metrics.

Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

High degree of curiosity, cultural awareness, and an authentic commitment to inclusion, equity, and continuous learning.


Skills

Project Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage projects; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.

Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.

Talent Analytics: Knowledge of methodologies, technologies and processes used to collect, analyze and utilize employee data (e.g. personality, attitudes, behaviors, performance); ability to enhance the company's competitive advantages through in-depth data analytics.

Vendor Management: Knowledge of vendor management methodologies, technologies and processes; ability to gain increased value and excellent services from vendors, as well as cost control and risk mitigation throughout the deal life cycle.
